Was Magellan Straight?
yup - we crossed the mighty Magellan Strait on our 15 hour, two bus, one ferry and one minibus journey from Puerto Natalles to Ushaia (the southern-most city in the world). It´s the end of the world as we know it (and we feel fine)!

hey, lovely to hear from you NZ amigos. thanks for thinking of us (nina) in this time of need. it´s not easy being slav in argentina at the moment. there was lots of laughing and pointing but as leihia said - i am in argentina after all, in lovely patagonia so life is not that bad.

I love that picture. Pretty awesome stuff. Anne's in London where the weather's been dry, I'm in Shanghai where it's 35C and about 90% humid, and you're wearing beanies in the winter!.
Great picture. It's about 35C and 90% humidity in Shanghai so it's a shock to see you in beanies and winter clothes. Anne's been in London the last 10 days having fun coming back today. When do the hols end or perhaps never?

it´s good to hear sun is shining somewhere. It´s been rather cold and wet in Patagonia but we loved it none the less. It´s sooo huge, peaceful and empty.
We are almost on our way to Europe - 1st of July but then we have a month to travel around good old Europe, maybe catch few rays of sunshine in Croatia. And then...
